RTI Exploration, one of the contributors to Northern Lithium’s discovery in the North East of England
Northern Lithium reached an impressive landmark in its programme to produce lithium in the North East of England. In August 2022, a successuful exploration borehole was drilled down to 750m into the granite and reached economically viable concentrations of lithium in brines.
RTI Exploration, amongst other contributors, provided beneficial and relevant geophysical insights leading to this new discovery and allowing the UK to be one step closer to unlocking a reliable and low-carbon source of lithium.
